Five colors, endless possibilities. Select a color to copy its HEX.
A calm autumn ferry palette with a blue-green estuary field, near-black ink, pink passenger cards, ivory routes, and olive booking accents.
The feeling
Quiet ferry choices moving through pink passenger cards and ivory routes on blue-green
Explore this palette ↓A muted blue-green field settles the booking flow beside a quiet autumn estuary. The color is light enough for near-black information, while pale pink and cool ivory introduce the passenger and route stages without losing the calm pace.
Deep olive appears only when a sailing is chosen and the booking moves toward its summary.
Estuary Ink carries navigation, route names, sailing labels, and date controls on Tidal Glass. Passenger Pink cards hold names, passenger types, and edit links. Give each card an Estuary Ink border: it reaches 11.07:1 against pink and 5.68:1 against the surrounding blue-green.
Route Ivory panels collect the sailing choices and route notes, also with an ink border that reaches 14.83:1 on ivory and 5.68:1 on the canvas. Place Selected Olive booking blocks inside ivory panels, where their boundary is 6.88:1, and use Route Ivory for the selected label and summary text. Add a visible check mark and the word “Selected” to the chosen sailing. The principal surface split is 49% estuary, 32% passenger pink, and 19% route ivory.
Estuary Ink passes on Tidal Glass at about 5.68:1, Passenger Pink at 11.07:1, and Route Ivory at 14.83:1. It fails on Selected Olive at 2.15:1; Route Ivory passes there at 6.88:1. Pink and ivory are only 1.34:1 apart, so they should remain separate stages rather than touching cards. Olive reaches only 2.64:1 against the estuary field, which is why selected blocks belong inside ivory panels.
A considered balance
Use Tidal Glass for the booking canvas with Estuary Ink text. Give Passenger Pink and Route Ivory cards verified ink borders. Place Selected Olive blocks inside ivory route panels, use ivory text, and add a check mark plus a visible Selected label.
Start with a generous background, introduce your primary color, then use the highlight sparingly. The ratios are a guide for large surfaces, not a fixed recipe.

Background · Primary · Highlight. Use text and accent colors where their roles call for them.
Recommended text on accent
The original text has low contrast (2.15:1). This example uses Route Ivory (#F1E9D8) from the same palette instead of #141817 on #465326, improving contrast to 6.88:1. This meets WCAG AA for normal text.
Contrast is calculated for these specific pairs. Large text means at least 24 px regular or about 18.7 px bold. Check every pairing in your final design.

If an explicit requirement conflicts with this color guide, identify the conflict instead of silently overriding it. Text: Estuary Ink #141817 Primary: Passenger Pink #E7C3C2 Highlight: Route Ivory #F1E9D8 Accent: Selected Olive #465326 Background: Tidal Glass #6F9995 Mood: Quiet ferry choices moving through pink passenger cards and ivory routes on blue-green Suggested uses: Travel services Application note: Use Tidal Glass for the booking canvas with Estuary Ink text. Give Passenger Pink and Route Ivory cards verified ink borders. Place Selected Olive blocks inside ivory route panels, use ivory text, and add a check mark plus a visible Selected label. Avoid: Do not use Estuary Ink on Selected Olive; the ratio is about 2.15:1. Use Route Ivory there at 6.88:1. Outline pink and ivory cards with ink, which passes against each card and the blue-green canvas. Place olive selection blocks inside ivory because olive and the canvas reach only 2.64:1. Use approximately 49% background, 32% primary, and 19% highlight across large surfaces. These ratios are a starting point, not a rigid rule. Use text and accent colors according to their roles. Keep the original HEX values. Choose readable text/background pairings without silently changing the palette. Do not introduce unrelated colors.

Text/background contrast: 5.68:1. This is one measured pair, not a guarantee for the whole palette. Check every actual text/background pairing against WCAG AA. Prefer readable combinations from the original colors, keep visible keyboard focus, and never communicate state through color alone. If no original pairing meets the requirement, propose a separately labeled derived color with its original HEX, proposed HEX, purpose and measured contrast. Never overwrite the source palette.
This guide preserves the original HEX values. Review the output before using it.
