Five colors, endless possibilities. Select a color to copy its HEX.
A dramatic fashion-lookbook palette with a pale yellow set, midnight-blue type, a vivid blue cape, charcoal shadow rails, and a sharp magenta detail for garment imagery and readable look information.
The feeling
A vivid blue cape cut into a pale set by charcoal shadow and one magenta clasp
Explore this palette ↓Imagine a sculptural evening cape crossing a hard sidelight, its edge forming one clean diagonal against a pale set. Sidelight Wash opens the composition, while Lookbook Midnight anchors the title and garment details. Electric Cape gives the silhouette a saturated blue field that holds attention at full-page scale.
Cut Shadow defines the dark side of the garment and the look-number rail. Clasp Magenta marks the fastening point and one precise styling detail. The tension between the high-key ground and concentrated blue shape makes the page dramatic while preserving a clear information panel.
Use Sidelight Wash for the page background, margin, and look-detail panel. Set the look number, garment name, supplied material description, available size range, price, and styling notes in Lookbook Midnight. Electric Cape should carry the main garment silhouette or a large image frame. Apply Cut Shadow to the cropped shadow, navigation rail, and image caption block, with Clasp Magenta reserved for the clasp marker, active thumbnail, and short accent rule.
Begin with a 48/40/12 balance across the pale background, blue primary cape, and charcoal highlight. Treat text and magenta as supporting roles outside that ratio. Keep the detail panel outside the silhouette, and list materials and sizes exactly as supplied rather than inferring them from the image.
Lookbook Midnight on Sidelight Wash measures about 13.14:1 and supports normal text. It measures only 2.67:1 on Electric Cape, 1.34:1 on Cut Shadow, and 2.64:1 on Clasp Magenta, so all three pairs fail both the 4.5:1 normal-text threshold and the 3:1 large-text threshold.
Use Sidelight Wash for wording on those three surfaces. It measures about 4.93:1 on Electric Cape, 9.84:1 on Cut Shadow, and 4.97:1 on Clasp Magenta. Blue and magenta are only about 1.01:1 apart, so separate adjacent shapes with space or a Sidelight Wash outline; use the same boundary when two colored regions must be distinguished without text.
A considered balance
Use Sidelight Wash for the lookbook page and detail panel, Lookbook Midnight for essential copy, Electric Cape for the main garment silhouette, Cut Shadow for the shadow and look-number rail, and Clasp Magenta for the fastening marker and active thumbnail. Put Sidelight Wash wording on all three dark or vivid surfaces, separate blue from magenta with space or a pale outline, and display supplied material and size details as labeled text.
Start with a generous background, introduce your primary color, then use the highlight sparingly. The ratios are a guide for large surfaces, not a fixed recipe.

Focal areas & key details
Background · Primary · Highlight. Use text and accent colors where their roles call for them.
Recommended text on primary
The original text has low contrast (2.67:1). This example uses Sidelight Wash (#F3E7A8) from the same palette instead of #101F3A on #2457D6, improving contrast to 4.93:1. This meets WCAG AA for normal text.
Recommended text on highlight
The original text has low contrast (1.34:1). This example uses Sidelight Wash (#F3E7A8) from the same palette instead of #101F3A on #343536, improving contrast to 9.84:1. This meets WCAG AA for normal text.
Recommended text on accent
The original text has low contrast (2.64:1). This example uses Sidelight Wash (#F3E7A8) from the same palette instead of #101F3A on #B61F67, improving contrast to 4.97:1. This meets WCAG AA for normal text.
Contrast is calculated for these specific pairs. Large text means at least 24 px regular or about 18.7 px bold. Check every pairing in your final design.

Use approximately 48% background, 40% primary, and 12% highlight across large surfaces. These ratios are a starting point, not a rigid rule. Use text and accent colors according to their roles. Keep the original HEX values. Choose readable text/background pairings without silently changing the palette. Do not introduce unrelated colors.

Text/background contrast: 13.14:1. This is one measured pair, not a guarantee for the whole palette. Check every actual text/background pairing against WCAG AA. Prefer readable combinations from the original colors, keep visible keyboard focus, and never communicate state through color alone. If no original pairing meets the requirement, propose a separately labeled derived color with its original HEX, proposed HEX, purpose and measured contrast. Never overwrite the source palette.
This guide preserves the original HEX values. Review the output before using it.
