How to use it

Use Evening Plum for the journal canvas with Journal Mist for navigation, dates, and entry headings. Set the current entry and note list on Pebble Sage panels with Archive Charcoal text.

Use Prompt Lavender for prompt cards with Archive Charcoal text. Group earlier entries on Archive Charcoal with Journal Mist text, adding a sage border where the charcoal meets plum. The 44/36/20 surface balance gives entries the largest secondary area and keeps prompts intentionally smaller.

What to watch

Journal Mist reaches about 12.60:1 on Evening Plum and 11.00:1 on Archive Charcoal. It does not pass on Pebble Sage at about 1.87:1 or Prompt Lavender at 2.33:1. Use Archive Charcoal text there instead, at about 5.88:1 and 4.73:1.

Archive Charcoal and Evening Plum are only about 1.15:1 apart, while Pebble Sage and Prompt Lavender are about 1.24:1. Do not rely on those pairs for boundaries, dates, or entry states. Use a sage outline around charcoal history groups and repeat current, saved, and earlier states with labels or icons.
