Five colors, endless possibilities. Select a color to copy its HEX.
An elegant beauty-packaging palette pairing a blue-lilac presentation field with plum-black type, pale silver panels, subdued cyan details, and a deep pewter accent for a precise solid-perfume compact.
Imagine a small hinged fragrance compact centered where a folded silk square changes direction. Silk Lilac creates a quiet editorial field, and Engraved Plum gives the product name and fragrance notes a precise, near-black line. Silver Veil frames the compact without relying on a familiar gold-luxury formula.
Deep Patina marks the pressed fragrance wax and selected detail, while Hinge Pewter traces the case edge and small hardware cues. The limited blue-lilac, silver, cyan, and graphite range keeps attention on proportion, label placement, and the compact silhouette.
Use Silk Lilac for the product-detail background and outer carton field, with Engraved Plum for headings, descriptions, prices, and ingredient copy. Silver Veil suits the compact face, information cards, and the main label. Apply Deep Patina to a fragrance selector, wax inset, or active tab, and reserve Hinge Pewter for case outlines, dividers, secondary icons, and small structural details.
Begin with a 54/36/10 balance across the lilac background, silver primary panel, and cyan highlight. Treat plum text and pewter accents as supporting roles outside that ratio. Keep the compact centered with generous space around it, and pair every selector with a written fragrance name and visible focus treatment.
Engraved Plum on Silk Lilac measures about 7.43:1 and on Silver Veil 11.99:1, so both support normal text. Engraved Plum on Deep Patina is only 2.34:1, and on Hinge Pewter it is 2.49:1; both fail normal- and large-text thresholds.
When cyan or pewter elements need wording, use Silver Veil instead. It measures about 5.12:1 on Deep Patina and 4.82:1 on Hinge Pewter. Do not place silver wording on the lilac field, and keep decorative case lines separate from required product information or selection states.
A considered balance
Use Silk Lilac for the product-detail and carton field, Engraved Plum for essential copy, Silver Veil for the compact face and information panels, Deep Patina for the wax inset or active selector, and Hinge Pewter for outlines and secondary hardware details. Put Silver Veil wording on cyan and pewter, and pair selectors with names and visible focus treatments.
Start with a generous background, introduce your primary color, then use the highlight sparingly. The ratios are a guide for large surfaces, not a fixed recipe.

Focal areas & key details
Background · Primary · Highlight. Use text and accent colors where their roles call for them.
Recommended text on highlight
The original text has low contrast (2.34:1). This example uses Silver Veil (#D7D8DA) from the same palette instead of #241821 on #315D63, improving contrast to 5.12:1. This meets WCAG AA for normal text.
Recommended text on accent
The original text has low contrast (2.49:1). This example uses Silver Veil (#D7D8DA) from the same palette instead of #241821 on #595A5F, improving contrast to 4.82:1. This meets WCAG AA for normal text.
Contrast is calculated for these specific pairs. Large text means at least 24 px regular or about 18.7 px bold. Check every pairing in your final design.

If an explicit requirement conflicts with this color guide, identify the conflict instead of silently overriding it. Text: Engraved Plum #241821 Primary: Silver Veil #D7D8DA Highlight: Deep Patina #315D63 Accent: Hinge Pewter #595A5F Background: Silk Lilac #A9A8C8 Mood: A precise silver compact poised on a quiet blue-lilac silk fold Suggested uses: Beauty packaging Application note: Use Silk Lilac for the product-detail and carton field, Engraved Plum for essential copy, Silver Veil for the compact face and information panels, Deep Patina for the wax inset or active selector, and Hinge Pewter for outlines and secondary hardware details. Put Silver Veil wording on cyan and pewter, and pair selectors with names and visible focus treatments. Avoid: Engraved Plum fails as text on Deep Patina at about 2.34:1 and on Hinge Pewter at 2.49:1. Use Silver Veil on those surfaces instead at about 5.12:1 and 4.82:1. Silver Veil also fails on Silk Lilac, so keep body copy in Engraved Plum there. Do not rely on color alone for fragrance selection or product availability. Use approximately 54% background, 36% primary, and 10% highlight across large surfaces. These ratios are a starting point, not a rigid rule. Use text and accent colors according to their roles. Keep the original HEX values. Choose readable text/background pairings without silently changing the palette. Do not introduce unrelated colors.

Text/background contrast: 7.43:1. This is one measured pair, not a guarantee for the whole palette. Check every actual text/background pairing against WCAG AA. Prefer readable combinations from the original colors, keep visible keyboard focus, and never communicate state through color alone. If no original pairing meets the requirement, propose a separately labeled derived color with its original HEX, proposed HEX, purpose and measured contrast. Never overwrite the source palette.
This guide preserves the original HEX values. Review the output before using it.
