Five colors, endless possibilities. Select a color to copy its HEX.
A bold folding-stool campaign palette with a dark violet field, vivid cyan panels, light violet dimensions, a yellow hinge pin, and pale neutral type.
The feeling
Cyan panels crossing on deep violet with a single yellow hinge and measured light-violet lines
Explore this palette ↓Two flat cyan panels cross and become a standing seat on a deep violet stage. Hinge Pin lands at the exact point of rotation, while Measure Violet traces the folded and unfolded silhouettes like a technical afterimage. The campaign turns one change in geometry into its central visual.
Studio White carries the title and dimensions placed directly on Fold Shadow; labels on the lighter panels use Fold Shadow. The layout can alternate between a single oversized hinge silhouette and a quieter side-by-side comparison without assigning performance or safety claims to the imagined object.
Use Fold Shadow for the broad campaign field and Studio White for the main title and copy. Build the crossed stool panels in Cross Cyan. Use Measure Violet for dimension blocks, extension lines, and the folded silhouette. Reserve Hinge Pin for the pivot marker, numbered callout, and one short directional rule.
Start with a 55/31/14 surface balance across Fold Shadow, Cross Cyan, and Measure Violet. Keep Hinge Pin outside that ratio as a compact accent. Label folded and unfolded views in words, place dimensions beside their extension lines, and use a distinct silhouette as well as color to identify each state.
Studio White measures 13.55:1 on Fold Shadow, passing the 4.5:1 normal-text threshold. It measures 2.10:1 on Cross Cyan, 1.51:1 on Measure Violet, and 1.99:1 on Hinge Pin; all three fail both 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text. Use Fold Shadow on those colors at 6.46:1, 9.00:1, and 6.81:1 respectively.
Cross Cyan, Measure Violet, and Hinge Pin each exceed 6.45:1 against Fold Shadow, so their silhouettes hold clear boundaries on the main field. Their mutual contrast ranges from 1.05:1 to 1.39:1. Where the yellow hinge overlaps cyan or a violet dimension block crosses cyan, add a Fold Shadow outline that contrasts at least 6.46:1 with either adjoining color.
A considered balance
Use Fold Shadow for the field and Studio White text only on Fold Shadow. Use Fold Shadow text on Cross Cyan, Measure Violet, and Hinge Pin. Build the main panels in Cross Cyan, dimensions in Measure Violet, and the pivot in Hinge Pin. Outline overlaps in Fold Shadow and label folded and unfolded views in words.
Start with a generous background, introduce your primary color, then use the highlight sparingly. The ratios are a guide for large surfaces, not a fixed recipe.

Background · Primary · Highlight. Use text and accent colors where their roles call for them.
Recommended text on primary
The original text has low contrast (2.10:1). This example uses Fold Shadow (#33154F) from the same palette instead of #F1F0EE on #19B9C5, improving contrast to 6.46:1. This meets WCAG AA for normal text.
Recommended text on highlight
The original text has low contrast (1.51:1). This example uses Fold Shadow (#33154F) from the same palette instead of #F1F0EE on #D7BCE8, improving contrast to 9.00:1. This meets WCAG AA for normal text.
Recommended text on accent
The original text has low contrast (1.99:1). This example uses Fold Shadow (#33154F) from the same palette instead of #F1F0EE on #D3A631, improving contrast to 6.81:1. This meets WCAG AA for normal text.
Contrast is calculated for these specific pairs. Large text means at least 24 px regular or about 18.7 px bold. Check every pairing in your final design.

Avoid: Studio White fails the 4.5:1 normal-text and 3:1 large-text thresholds on Cross Cyan, Measure Violet, and Hinge Pin; use Fold Shadow at 6.46:1, 9.00:1, and 6.81:1. Add a Fold Shadow outline wherever cyan, light violet, and yellow overlap because their mutual contrast is below 1.40:1. Use approximately 55% background, 31% primary, and 14% highlight across large surfaces. These ratios are a starting point, not a rigid rule. Use text and accent colors according to their roles. Keep the original HEX values. Choose readable text/background pairings without silently changing the palette. Do not introduce unrelated colors.

Text/background contrast: 13.55:1. This is one measured pair, not a guarantee for the whole palette. Check every actual text/background pairing against WCAG AA. Prefer readable combinations from the original colors, keep visible keyboard focus, and never communicate state through color alone. If no original pairing meets the requirement, propose a separately labeled derived color with its original HEX, proposed HEX, purpose and measured contrast. Never overwrite the source palette.
This guide preserves the original HEX values. Review the output before using it.
